About the event
Do you want to learn from people with experience fighting for their rights in an ableist society?
Join our panel of experienced self-advocates for stories, advice, and a live Q&A about the skills needed for doing presentations for advocacy and activism success. Gain skills to help you be a better presenter or get the courage to start doing presentations and share your story!
We'll have a short presentation about presentation skills and hear from our panel members - leaving some time for questions and discussion at the end.
Monday, May 6, 2024 | 4:00pm - 5:00pm (Pacific Time) on Zoom.
Please register by May 4th. We will send an email reminder with the Zoom login information to all registered attendees the day before the event. (Check your promotions/junk folder if you don't find it in your inbox this day or email us at hello@bcpeoplefirst.com to get the login link).
Panel members include:
- Margaux Wosk
- Jo-Anne Gauthier
- Conrad Tyrkin
- Timothy Harris
- Larissa Gunkel
We hope you can make it!
